The Cromwell Medical Centre works closely with St John Ambulance to provide emergency care to our patients and visitors to our community.
There are currently 2 full time paramedics who cover the daytime requirements & a dedicated group of volunteers who assist with both day and night cover.
St John operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, saving thousands of lives. In New Zealand, the St John Ambulance Service treats and transports approximately 400,000 people every year with more than 600 operational vehicles and 205 ambulance stations.
