Dr Barbara Carran trained at Otago Medical School and has spent most of her medical career working in general practice in Whangarei, where she and her husband have also raised their four children.  She moved south to the Central lakes region in 2020 and enjoys the wide range of outdoor activities available here.

With her particular interest in Women’s Health and Infant care, Barbara finds great satisfaction in her family medicine role at Cromwell Medical Centre.
