About Us
We are a large, well established medical centre in Cromwell, centrally located close to the town centre.
Our current team consists of GPs, a Nurse Practitioner, registered nurses, HIP, Health Coach and experienced administrators, all managed by an experienced Practice Manager.
There is amazing collegial support within our Practice, including from our Fellow GP.
We conduct full inductions onsite for all new staff members. We provide ongoing training to keep up to date with regulations and have weekly full team meetings.
We are open Monday to Friday and operate morning and afternoon sessions, in addition we provide the weekend clinic every second weekend. Each morning and afternoon session has twelve 15-minute patient appointments.
We use My Practice as our Patient Management System and Health 365 as our Patient Portal, enabling our patients to look at their results, book appointments and order repeat prescriptions.
We have a Dunedin-based South Link Health IT team who are supportive and knowledgeable and assist whenever we encounter issues.
We have strong relations with primary and secondary services, as well the other health providers on site including a massage therapist, physiotherapist, hand therapist, and many visiting specialists.
We are Foundation-accredited.
About Cromwell
We are a town in Central Otago, on the shores of Lake Dunstan and home to around 7 500 permanent residents.
Cromwell holds huge appeal to people who love the outdoors. This includes the 55km Lake Dunstan Trail, for bikers and walkers. For those that love food and wine, we are home to many renowned vineyards, celebrated for Pinot Noir, with cellar doors and tasting rooms close together.
In addition, we have boutique shops, galleries, cafes, seaonsal market, water activities, ski fields and two major motorsport venues.
